In fact, it was on a whim that I downloaded Barbara Demick's affecting nonfiction book, Nothing to Envy: Ordinary Lives in North Korea, to my Kindle on Saturday night. Without you guys, I'd never have heard about Barbara Demick's excellent book Nothing to Envy: Ordinary Lives in North Korea, and my life would have been the lesser for it. What an eye-opening account to me of what life is like there. This is a non-fiction work about North Koreans.
